*2 Calls!* [LANGFORD FIRE] - Battalion 1, Engine 1 & Brush 1 responding!
Two calls at the same time – Langford Fire Department responding with a Battalion Chief, Engine and a Brush Truck to a commercial fire alarm and a medical assist.

In the afternoon of June 14th 2018 the Langford (British Columbia, Canada) Fire Department received a commercial fire alarm call. Battalion Chief 1 and Engine 1 responded to the scene, the Engine just waited for volunteer firefighters to complete their staffing. Shortly after their depart, a second call for a medical assist (ALS) came in and some more volunteer firefighters staffed a Brush Truck to respond to this call. The Brush Truck is fire station 1’s back up for all medical calls when the Engine is already out of the house.

Langford is a combination Fire Department, staffed by career firefighters in daytime and volunteers at night. When those calls came in it was time for shift change, so the units responded with a mixed crew.

  1. I wish I knew y'all were out my way. Should've met up! I was just down the road, filmed this exact two responses lol

  2. Great video Lukas, a lot of interesting things going on in this video! First, it's interesting how the engine just sat there on the front for so long without responding, even after the battalion came by. Also, it's cool to see the Gladiator Evolution cab in another city, and the newer version too! (Richmond has an older one but it will not be getting a lot of calls anymore 😀 )
