Tailless female mountain lion with her two kittens. Feeding on a Roosevelt elk kill. The family stayed here until the carcass was completely devoured. This action takes place on Vancouver island using browning trail cameras. Mountain lions are very elusive animals. They are mainly nocturnal but spend their days in very close proximity to humans. Cougars attack mainly from behind, so do be aware of your surroundings while venturing out into the wilderness.
Hunting is not something I do, it who I am. When I’m hunting I’m free, I get to choose my food and be with nature. I spend most of my time in nature observing, studying and filming. For every animal that I see I might harvest 1 out of 100. To be a true steward of the land takes pride, respect and compassion. Hunting takes skill, dedication and patience. I love filming wildlife and sharing it with others. I teach the skills necessary to be a good ethical hunter. I appreciate what the land has provided me and the meat will nourish my body. I only take what we will use and share with anyone in need. Please enjoy my films as much as I enjoy producing them.
