COURTENAY, B.C. – Chairlift operations resumed today on Mount Washington on Vancouver Island after a snowstorm left dozens stranded. Sheila Rivers of Mount Washington Alpine Resort says about 20 boy scouts and a dozen other people spent a night at its lodge when more than a meter of snow fell.
