Wounded Warrior Run B.C. 2019 – The Victoria Finish Line
The Wounded Warrior Run arriving at the B.C. Legislature in Victoria after running from Port Hardy to Victoria on Vancouver Island! Over 600 km over 7 days! They raised well over their 0,000 goal for Wounded Warriors Canada programs that help first responders, military personnel, and their families who are struggling with the psychological, emotional, and physical effects of their work.
The team consisted of 9 runners (conquering the journey relay style) and numerous support personnel. In the video, you see a mass of runners consisting of local politicians, emergency services leaders from the Capital Region/Greater Victoria, their families, and other supporters running with the team as they reach the finish line. They also had a fantastic escort from Port Hardy to Victoria consisting of personnel from local police, fire, BC Ambulance, Canadian Forces, and Canadian Coast Guard.Great job done by all!
This video is dedicated to all of those who are currently serving, who have served, who are feeling the effects of operational injuries of all kinds, and who have not won the battle. Thank You.
