West Coast Trail – Vancouver Island – Solo

West Coast Trail - Vancouver Island - Solo
From June 10 – 14, 2018 I set out on a solo, north to south trip of the West Coast Trail. Completing it in 4 nights was a challenge, and a rewarding one at that. I got to meet lots of good people from around the world. A shout out to the film crew at Chez Monique’s, you guys were fun. I can’t wait to see your work.

The West Coast Trail, originally called the Dominion Lifesaving Trail, is a 75 km backpacking trail following the southwestern edge of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. It was built in 1907 to facilitate the rescue of shipwrecked survivors along the coast, part of the treacherous Graveyard of the Pacific. It is now part of the Pacific Rim National Park and is often rated by hiking guides as one of the world’s top hiking trails.

All of my videos and photography were from a GoPro Hero5 Black, and a Samsung Galaxy S9+ . Both set to 4k UHD.
